She studied Illustration Design at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU).
Her preferred materials include watercolors, gouache, ink and colored pencils, though her repertoire extends into traditional printing and various digital techniques.
She has a love of nature, a feeling for atmosphere, a tendency to daydream and a special fondness for silly animals. All of these things usually play a part in her illustrations.
Her other interests include taking pictures of her cat, going for long walks in the forest with her partner and old-fashioned letter writing. She WILL stop to admire a cute dog on the street, especially if it is somewhat ugly.
